The Consulting House is a full service interior design and project management firm located in Atlanta, Georgia and Cashiers, North Carolina specializing in new construction, renovations & interior decorating. Our services include all architectural and design elements related to both the interior and exterior of a home. The firm is involved in projects of all sizes and we work with clients in ways that best meets their budget and time constraints. Our emphasis is on quality, value and attention to detail while creating innovative, artistic and creative designs that reflect a comfortable sophistication and timeless quality.
Our philosophy is to work closely as a team with our clients, and any architects, developers and contractors on the project. On every project we strive to make our clients lives less stressful by providing the knowledge, design and construction expertise, and the project management skills necessary to have our clients feel comfortable and not overwhelmed with the decisions at hand. We stretch our clients beyond what they could imagine yet always creating a space that they will love and will be their own. BIO
Janice Dietz founded The Consulting House in January 2001. She is an award winning and published designer with over 25 years of experience in art, design and business. Janice attended Cornell University, College of Architecture. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Business Administration. Prior to 2001, Janice was a Vice President for a textile manufacturing company, a Senior Manager for Ernst & Young Consulting, and a Director for The Coca Cola Company. She also worked as an architectural specialist for a textile firm. Janice is a patron of the arts and is an avid art collector. She has expertise in curating and purchasing museum quality art. Janice's involvement in the visual arts community and initial training in architecture inform her creative flair and attention to detail. With both a design and business background, Janice brings her creative skills, problem solving prowess and business acumen to all projects.
