The original master bathroom was very small and had never been updated. The project involved incorporating the space from another room to increase the size and provide for a walk in closet. The Consulting House designed the renovated space and created the architectural drawings for the builder to obtain the permit. The finishes include a marble floor and countertop, a free standing tub, penny round marble shower floor and oversized subway tile married with a beautiful blue ceramic tile
The kitchen renovation included tearing down walls to eliminate a cramped and chopped up kitchen that had non-functioning spaces. This allowed us to open up the kitchen to make the space feel larger and to create room for an island. The cased opening to the kitchen was enlarged as well. The range existed in the original kitchen and was able to be cleaned up and re-used. The vent hood was custom made and finished to serve as a focal point on the tiled wall. The marble countertops added to the classic look and topped the antique marble colored custom cabinets. To finish out the design, The Consulting House had the original kitchen table and light fixture refinished and designed the window treatments.
